Okay. Re-did the budget for a third time, this time with using ~$325 to pay off the last of my 401(k) loan at the end of the year. (Yes, I have one of those. I used the money to pay off a bit of debt and go to a convention. This was a stupid idea, but I also did this about 3-4 years ago. Given that I've had most of my credit cards for about 4-5 years, I'd say that was when I was going through a preiod of financial stupidity.)
*If* I am stoic and do everything right (ie - don't go out and spend money, and don't go to any conventions), then I can potentially be virtually debt free by the end of next year.
Two years to get rid of about $16,000 in debt isn't too bad.
With any luck, I'll be able to buy stuff and/or go to conventions out of my own pocket, instead of using someone else's money. I like this idea. A lot.
